Highcharts is a FREE tool, which makes it easy for data journalists to set up interactive charts in their web pages. It is also integrative for developers to customize with a software license. During this session you will learn the possibilities, best practice and how to get started. https://www.highcharts.com/

A demo will be presented and participants will get to turn data into a Highchart of their own. Participants will learn how easy and beneficial such charts are when communicating all aspects of journalism.

If you can use basic functions of a computer, you can make an interactive chart with Highcharts!
