As the the head of the The Bureau Local lab of the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, Megan will speak about the first year at The Bureau Local and the future of investigative data journalism, which according to her, is both local and collaborative. Megan is one of the UK’s leading data journalists and in her former position as the head of the Times and the Sunday Times data teams, she contributed to the newspapers' reputation in the areas of data mining and analysis and helped bring many issues to the public discourse.
