From data to interactive map visualisations: Part 1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
In this session (first of two), participants will learn how to make their own interactive visualizations using Javascript, CSS and HTML.

We will look at real data and we use Javascript to convert the data in .csv format into a map using Google Maps API. We will also add interactive compontents that allow you to change the shown data.

NOTE:
You'll get the most of the session if you have your own laptop (BYOD). We will be using Codepen (codepen.io) so it is recommended that you make an account in advance but this is not required.

We have two hours which is a short time to learn everything but let's try to make the most of it :)
